On behalf of our Mom and ourselves we just wanted to say how much we appreciate all of your expressions of sympathy and your kind words of our Dad on his death, Sunday, January 1st. As you may know medically, 2016 was a tough year for Dad, and he put up a good fight but in the end he was tired and just needed to rest.
We will be holding a funeral service on January, 20th 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA. Below are the details for this day. All are welcome to attend any part of the services, and if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
We would ask that in lieu of flowers you consider donating in Dad’s name to a Veterans cause such as Combat Veterans International (C.V.I- Chpt 9 or National) or to Northwest Battle Buddies which are two organizations that Dad highly supported, even participated in for many years.
Dad will be laid to rest with Military Honors at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Vancouver, WA. In the garden called Arlington West. This garden is only dedicated to Veterans and their spouse so he will be amongst fellow comrades.
