Our History

CMAC was founded in 2011 with the original purpose of carrying on events such as Memorial Day and Veterans Day observances that were previously organized and executed by personnel of the Army Reserve’s 104th Division stationed at Vancouver Barracks. With strong community support, that original purpose has grown to include additional events and activities that celebrate and support the community’s patriotism and appreciation of military and first responders, past and present, and their families.  Over time, regular meetings by veteran organizations, civic groups, and others who share our appreciation for our military and first responder communities have resulted in a vibrant group of volunteers who ensure the success of CMAC’s purpose.
