Jay Williams commissioned in the US Army from Clemson University as a Military Intelligence officer in 1981. With a mechanical engineering background, later specialized in computer security. Retiring in 2009 with a total service of 28 years of service. While in the army, shot on the Army Shooting teams; rifle, pistol and international combat. He now serves with several non-profits in the county including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Military Officers Association and 100 Men of Clark County who Care. He stays active with veteran activities and events.
